Oh, god. Owls in your yard? Could you find those...I don't know the official term, but I always think of them as "cough balls" made up of hair/bones/undigestibles? You can pick them apart and find these beautiful little skulls from whatever they've been eating. I'm squeamish and girlie in a lot of ways, but if I've got a chance at clean bones, I'm willing to dig in a lot of gross stuff ;)
Owls (and most birds of prey) always seem so perfectly designed for what they do, which gives me a kind of thrill. I feel so inept and designed for vagueness (big heavy head, long limbs sticking out everywhere) that sometimes I think I'd like to be precise like that.
