Seeing Lana have chemistry with a boy is novel, to say the least ;) I agree that Adam deserves better, but if someone has to hold her hand, then at least it's not Clark ;)

And despite what Adam was saying, Clark looked more jealous of Lana than of Adam in the scenes with the three of them.

I'm fairly certain there's no other kind of Lex than Sexy. I mean, even when he's Stepford!Lex, he's still sexy.
