Thank you! I really enjoy writing petulant, assy Clark--this big, strapping kid who's all flouncy and huffy on the inside. And in terms of mutual feelings, I am perhaps in a rut, but I always think that Clark assumes Lex knows about his feelings and is just playing with him, while Lex assumes Clark hasn't got a clue and behaves accordingly. And thus they make each other insane ;)
Months and months ago I was reading some older-Bruce story and started wondering how the dynamic would change if the ages were more like what I was familiar-ish with from comics. I like this young Bruce's interactions with Lex a lot--to the point that I started writing a prequel to this story last night. I'm not ready to let go of Bruce yet, I guess.
