I'm going a bit nuts with the digital camera because 1) I can take pictures with it that actually look okay, and 2) it's easy, and 3) fast. All of these were issues that kept me from bothering to take pictures in the past, and thus I don't have photographs of most of my pets. I have pictures of my cat who lived to be 17, and only a photo or two of one other, but no photographs at all of a third.
So now that we finally have a digital camera, I'm acting like a new grandparent and taking pictures of everything that moves ;)
