It was a good party! Luckily, my anxiety did not result in me putting on an outsized, embarassing drunk. Not only was there drinking, but there were semi-existential discussions on the porch at 3 AM, slightly risque teasing, and people ate all of the food we put out.
So, even though I actually didn't need the hand-holding I craved, I still wouldn't have turned it down. Next time we have a party, you should come ;)
