That would be lovely! And because I can't stop myself once I Google, here's a good-looking Murray Hill hotel with rooms apparently starting at $129. For NYC, that's dirt cheap.
Murray Hill's in the middle of town, but it's not particularly known for anything, so you'd probably be continually leaving the neighborhood to go elsewhere. But it looks like a great value.
