oiranSo I'm going friends-locked after all, and it has nothing to do with fandom. Imagine that! If the situation weren't so annoying, I'd find it rather ironic and amusing. I'm not going to go back and lock things, but future posts will probably be filtered for friends only.

jedfic, because in the future I am not going to add people to the velvetglove flist who don't post in their own journals at least occasionally.
If you and I are mutually friended, there is no need to addjedfic. It will just be cross-posting of stories that will be posted to velvetglove and also to my website and, in most cases, to the archives. You do not need to friend both, and I'd prefer if you didn't.
Currently, there are a few old stories atjedfic, and eventually I'll get the rest of them up there. I had been planning to have the second journal for fic only anyway; this is just a bit sooner, and under more annoying circumstances, than I had anticipated.
ETA: I'm not defriending anyone after all. All the "dead" journals on my list are people I know to be actual fandom geeks, so they can continue to read or ignore me as they've done all along.
