oiranWhy I love shaggy: Dana might not seem at first glance to be a patient sort, but she's been a good friend to me for well over a year now, and I don't think I'm a particularly easy person to stay friendly about. Sure, she's gotten some web design out of the deal, but I got fudge! And the sort of strict-taskmistressing I've needed! Maybe it's wrong to point out what a person does for me on their birthday, but she gives everyone the hot porn. She's even got me reading H/D (well, her H/D).
Last year, I wrote her a story. Writing that was one of the most unpleasant word-related experiences I'd ever had. But it toughened me up, so this year, I'm writing her a sequel to that story. It's not done yet, and she knew it wouldn't be done, but I think she still knows I love her, and I can't wait to give her a specially-modified plushie when we get to NYC.
