Ah - thank you for clearing that up. I pretty much hated him on sight, and nothing he said altered that initial impression.

In related, I-am-flaky news: I was so happy to hear Ray Suarez speak. I miss him from NPR. Oddly, though, I can't watch him. I listen with my eyes shut while he talks and I am suffused with well-being.
