TV blather

Paintjob part II tomorrow, and so I should probably sleep, or at least assume a horizontal position in a sleep-positive atmosphere. ( But first I must blather about TV, starting with Smallville  )

Taste of Latex: along with odor of latex, clinging to my hair. I'm on Painting Part III. There will be a Part IV, and possibly a Part V. Behr paint sucks. It brushes on "short" and then suddenly extends into a drippy mess about a half-hour after you've painted it on. Plus, the pigmentation is low and the coverage is for shit. I (heart) Porter Paint, on the other hand. And if you're curious how stupid I am, I agreed to do this for $100 per room. That means that after all this hassle, I will be a mere $200 richer. There are three other rooms I'm going to be painting, but I've informed Kicky that my rate will go up. We're talking more brown ceiling here...

Firefly: Mr. G and I watched the first disk from the Firefly DVD set. Wow. I love this show. Funny thing: Mr. Glove sees huge Mal/Simon slash. I didn't really notice. The actress who plays River is very...peculiar looking. Kind of like a pretty frog. I actually did see The Train Job as a download, and I didn't so much like it (because, funny thing, it's like you're entering a story already in progress), but after watching Serenity and then seeing The Train Job, it makes so much sense and it's just so GOOD. This falling in love with shows that are doomed or already dead is not going to do me any good. I am very excited about the upcoming movie. Very.

Heh. I got a present from princess_bunny. I haven't listened to it yet, but I'm expecting odd things ;)
