So, I'm still working on LJ designs for a couple of people (who are being very patient, I must say), and apparently doing a real customization of S2 is beyond my tiny brain, at least tonight. My efforts to do something really cool were semi-thwarted, but I redid my own LJ (using the old system) while sliding off the learning curve. It is very pink now. It also features kissing cartoon boys by my favorite mangaka, Kazusa Takashima. Perhaps I should just do what I know how to do and save the grandiose gestures for another time when I'm not months behind on my promises.
Apparently, my hormonal cravings are for...corn. Specifically, flakes of corn. Handfuls of dry, sugarless flakes, straight from the bag. In fact, the bag is situated such that I do not even need to remove it from the cupboard to scoop out a handful of crunchy, corntastic flakealiciousness. We buy these big bags of organic cereal and I've managed to polish off about half a giant sack in a matter of a couple days. I've tried eating it out of a bowl like a regular human, but I have found that I don't like it with (rice) milk, and I certainly don't want sugar. Just...mmmmmaize. Yummy. In fact, I abandoned part of a 70% cocoa dark chocolate bar with chunks of crystallized ginger so that I would be sure to have room for corn!
It was inevitable that I would finally have to read Prince of Tennis. I have about half a dozen PoT doujinshis on my hard drive, and I've enjoyed those, so it seemed like maybe I should know something of the source material. Of course, there's already a problem: I've got what I think is a reliable source for everything through volume 7, then again from volume 14...but what am I going to do if I like this story and I get to the end of vol 7? What about 8-13????? I've got vols 1-2 ready to read...but I'm already too worried about the potential gap in reading flow to want to get started.
