I went and picked him up this afternoon, and let him ride mostly in my lap on the way home, even though that's obviously a bad idea all around. He's very cuddly.

We picked Mr. Glove up from work and Casey sat in his lap for a change.

These pictures are the result of some very hectic play in the kitchen. Unfortunately, the camera refused to work while Casey was rocketing straight up in the air after the elusive spit-soaked blue fur doughnut, but at least we got a good crazy tugging picture ;)



So far, he loves to be brushed, doesn't quite understand the treat-stuffed Kong toy concept, is a little intimidated by the birds (excellent!), and is frightened of the stairs. He has never lived inside a house before, though the kennel he's been in for the last ten months does have an indoor section. He's doing okay with the few stairs down into the back yard, but he's very wary of going down the comparatively long inside stairs. He's going to have to get used to them, since I spend most of my time upstairs.

He really, really, really needs a bath, which I am going to try to take care of before Xmas. I have been petting him so much that I reek of dirty dog - much more than he does, actually.

Yay, dog!

Also, thank you fleegull for pointing out elysesewell's LJ. I didn't watch the first season of America's Next Top Model, and it's not even clear to me whether Elyse won that round, or if someone else did. While she's not the type of model that I go crazy over in terms of her look, she is very funny and articulate, and comes across as someone I'd like very much to know in RL. Lots of snack spam.
