remix stories are up!

The Remix Redux: Reloaded archive is open! Whoever* remixed my excuse for twincest story Siamese Twin is a GENIUS!

This author takes the idea of a cloned Lex and uses it to examine the Lex-Lionel relationship and the nature of identity but, most importantly, suggests an extremely plausible explanation for some of S4's serious deficiencies without refuting show canon. It's seriously brilliant.

Oh, and the dirty twincest angle is still very present :)

Go read Conjoined Twin (Separation Anxiety Remix) Go! Shoo! Get busy!

I couldn't be more thrilled. I feel very lucky :)

*I'm pretty sure I know who it is...I'll doubtless let you know if I was right when the names are revealed.

Okay, so I'm an idiot. I must have missed some central post of yours, and because of this, I had no idea you had this journal. Until tonight, when I decided to friend back the bunch of people who have been on my "Also friend of" list for ages without me managing to get up the energy to look at their journals. And there you were! And I who've been wondering why you've been so quiet. *lol* Please tell me you haven't been mad at me for not friending you back - I would have done it instantly if I'd known.

Aw, of course I'm not mad. I wanted to do this low-key and just let people discover this new person on their f-list when they got around to it. In other words, no announcement. There were way too many people I didn't know on the velvetglove list, and my long experiment in being open and not locking things that probably should have been locked just began to seem naive and possibly self-destructive. Nothing bad happened, but I didn't see the point in waiting for something nasty to occur before changing the way I was doing things. I'll still use velvetglove for posting stories and maybe some fannish stuff from time to time, but this will be my new home.

And, I should have e-mailed you long ago, but we certainly can talk about a site. I can apparently manage only one task at a time, and I've been a little frantic in recent weeks, but I think things are settling down and I can give the idea some attention now.
