If you're a PS7 crackhead, you may be interested in checking out the brushes I've made: here. Click on PS7 brushes.

Without hatred of NaNoWriMo to shape my days, I have been drifting in a fog of Photoshop and writing porn. Specifically, Lex in a coat closet, then Lex at school. Yeah, it's been done, but this will be my version, all right?

My new pills are making me feel better, and they have also killed my appetite with a club. I think what I actually have now is a normal desire for food, i.e., non-constant. Of course, seeing as how the vast majority of people I know are either taking or ought to be taking pills of some sort, I have no idea what to base this "normal" assessment on. In any case, being able to lose weight while sitting on my ass is always a big plus.

If you aren't watching Horatio Hornblower, you're a fool. Which is, of course, not the worst thing to be (see every tarot deck ever made).

I keep trying to figure out a way around the obvious roadblocks, but there doesn't seem to be any way that I'll get to go to Escapade in February, which is absolutely hateful and wrong.

First, Colorfied is a gorgeous page with gorgeous content. Your tarot deck is really kick ass. If that's the page your linking to for credit on projects, then I like the squares button if you want to use in on the GU site.

Second, Yay! for good working pills. I'm so glad you're feeling "normal" and all that.

Third, I'm still on the Escapade wait list (which is to be updated this week, *crosses fingers*) but if I can go, then of course you must go. MUST! GO!!

P.S. While I'm thinking of it - when you send back my HH DVDs, Alax mentioned a book trilogy that I should read? Meredith Lackey, I think?

Yes! I have those, and I'll put them in the box. Because, yeah, you know me, and I still haven't mailed them. I suck.

Escapade: I'm holding off on canceling in case I win some lottery I haven't actually purchased a ticket for, but I can't afford to go. Air tickets are around $500 right now, whereas a month ago they would have been $200. It would cost about the same to drive. There's certainly the possibility that I could find a cheap ticket, but I can't count on that. It sucks. I want to go so badly, but we just can't do it.

And thanks re: the page. I don't know exactly why I've put things up, except that I like to look at them all shiny onscreen, but at least the brushes are something that might be useful to others. And I prefer the square button, too.

Hmm...well, if I get a spot we'll have to talk. Maybe we could roadtrip together. And the room will be have as much. Grrr, I hate this time of year what with taxes and stoopid, mostly unwanted Christmas presents to buy. Bah! Humbug!!

Wow. I love that oracle! ::gazes:: What deck is the base?

I love you so much for mentioning HH *and* tarot together. :D I really need to get back to my studies there, and stop collecting decks until I have a better idea on how to use them.

It's all just made up. The "paper originals" were based on whatever phrases I could find in print that seemed...portentious to me. There are a lot more from that batch that I like, but I can't find them right now... The "electronic originals" use phrases and images chosen out of the ether because they seemed likely to have meaning specifically for my life should I ever choose to actually do a reading with them.

At one point, I was going to try to do my own version of major arcana, but I'm not mentally organized enough to even decide what the cards would be called.

Just FYI, the best reading I ever had was with this woman named Whimsy at Edge of the Circle books. She is/was a radical Jewish spanking enthusiast :)

Wow. That's so cool. If you do get them done, you should submit them to aeclectic.net (http://www.aeclectic.net). They have some really neat original decks there. I just really like yours. :)

And I really mean to save up for a reading, but other shiny sparkly things keep attracting my attention. Makes me wonder if I had a guide at one point that was a magpie. *G* Someday I'll find someone I'm comfortable with, and make the effort to have an extensive reading done. Someday. *sigh*
