these boots were made for walking

So I just bought shoes online. They only have my size, and thus they're only $49. And I'm already pretty sure they'll be too big and have to go back...but maybe not! And if not, then I've got replacements for my long-lost, well-beloved Fluevog cowboy boots, except red (which looks like dried blood to me) instead of black. Thing is, I wear a women's size 10, and even when I was significantly heavier, that does not mean I have big calves, though that seems to be what shoe manufacturers default to: long feet=thick legs. It's not true. I started wearing adult-size shoes while I was still in grade school. I was 5'2" in third grade. I had so many insecurities and weirdnesses, but I was convinced that large feet were the Sexay because I was really into Egyptian stuff, and the stylized perspective in Egyptian art...and just look at all the big-ass feet in Egyptian art. I still maintain that big feet are the most elegant feet possible.
Yeah. So. Anyway. Giddy red-cowboy-boot spam-o-rama.
And
rhiannonhero is coming to visit for the weekend, and we're going to...scheme.
