oiran | leaving on a jet plane

So I just put

rhiannonhero on a plane. No, scratch that--I actually just left her at the airport. Presumably someone else will get her on the plane. She's a nervous traveler. When she gets to Seattle, be gentle with her.

We have settled into a comfortable lumpenness for her visits: we write and read while in the same room, usually not bothering to get any more dressed up than pajamas. Sometimes we bathe (not together). We drink coffee. We squee. We drink wine. Mr. Glove left at the crack of dawn yesterday to go on a business trip, so we've had two days of completely girlish squalor. I miss her already. Squalor is more fun when it's shared.

This morning, when I popped up my LJ FL, there was a link to

kattiya's pix from the Paley event and both Rhi and I gasped out loud at the unnerving beauty that is Tom Welling's face. Oh, merciful fuckity god, that man is so damned attractive. The scruffiness, and the hair and his eyes being so really, really, incongruously BLUE. He also looks like he would smell really good--can anyone who was at the Paley thing can confirm this? ;) I do have a thing for guys in nice suits, and I don't think I've ever seen TW in a suit before. Gah. I have been complaining recently that I am becoming steadily stupider and, when I use ~~insane troll~~ logic, it does occur to me that perhaps there's an unholy exchange going on here: TW stealing brain cells from me to glow ever brighter. If this is indeed the case, I deserve to see him naked. *sigh* Oh, Mr. Welling, you make me so squirmy. Such ferocious prettiness. I hurt from the glory of it.
