The non-human breakdown is as follows:
...which could come out as at least 4 more for female, 2 more for male/male. If I had to pick, I'd say the bird was male, the cat and tiara both female, and the mask is demonic and thus neuter.
So, totals could be:
So does this mean I'm a lesbian? or that I enjoy being a girl? Are they all b&w because I'm boring? or old-fashioned? And does that one creepy mask thing make me a godless heathen?
I can't see that my icon choices mean much about my gender identity, especially as it relates to my writing slash. In my case, icon choices are aesthetic choices which say to me that I'm a stylistically rigid egomaniac ("velvetglove" much?). Being a feminist is not a gender issue, though.
It would be nice if we could break the world down into little formulae, wouldn't it? If we could quickly identify those who think like us, believe like us, deserve like us. And the sun would shine and the trains would all run on time and our LJ icons would make plain what lies in our hearts.
