That's horrible. The breaking-into-houses part is scary to me. You have locks on everything openable, right?

But I agree about walking alone at Greenlake at night. We used to see women running when it was full-dark with headphones on and I thought they were practically retarded, considering how many homeless guys live in that park (or did, anyway) and how many creepy lurkers there are. I mean, if you're going to run at night in near-pitch-dark, at least don't wear headphones.
