pusherman: So, if you read my post of very early this morning, had your interest in Sakende Yaruze piqued, but were subsequently unable to download it from the indicated source...I've got all the volumes uploaded. If you want them, let me know and I'll add you to a filtered post.
marks: I posted a story this morning, too, in the very quiet predawn hour. It is apparently littered with spare/extraneous question marks, for which I apologize. However, I am currently unwilling to associate any further with that story file, so any editing will have to wait until I can bear to look at it again. I'm sure it's a perfectly fine story, but I had so much trouble getting Clark and Lex to be nice to one another that I am just relieved that they are merely question marks and not MARKS OF THE DEVIL.
a single glove: Mr. Glove is in Miami all week for work. Then all next week. Then he gets to go to Olympia (i.e., Seattle! Portland!) for yet another week. I get to stay here and feed pets. Mr. Glove will be enjoying ocean air, drinking Cuban coffee, and admiring scantily-clad girls as part of his exalted and important "work." Because I am unreasonably resentful, I think I will get Coffee Rachel to marry me while he's gone in retaliation.
white rabbit: Late, late for a very important date. Lots of back comments and e-mails. I will answer them. I will.

Date: 2004-08-30 01:26 pm (UTC)And when oh when will Mr. Glove be returning to KC?! I am hungry for some BBQ.

Date: 2004-08-30 01:42 pm (UTC)As to KC, I think that might have been it. There's a guy who is pretty much parked there full-time who likes it there and has about 30 years seniority. Unless they have another expert-requiring situation, Mr. G is not likely to get to make the trip. I guess I'll just have to figure out a time to come visit myself. Or did you really want the Mr. instead?

And you mean I can pick you over Mr. Glove? It is no contest. When are you coming to see me, then? :P

Date: 2004-08-30 05:57 pm (UTC)Oh, and you're completely welcome. I agree that mIRC sucks, though I've gotten used to it. It's like a big step backwards in technology.

Date: 2004-08-30 10:45 pm (UTC)It did just occur to me that in order to get Coffee Rachel in on the plan, I might have to actually leave the house.

If I could think of a way to force you to download and read Sakende Yaruze, I would ;)

Date: 2004-08-30 11:10 pm (UTC)And what's this about you posting a story? Where? Wanna read! Question marks be damned.

Now, isn't that the kind of authorial confidence that makes a person want to read?
*frets*
Date: 2004-08-31 06:00 am (UTC)However, you have a very pretty website - now with pink! *g* - and I had figured that you would want to know that the question marks were there and not load them with the story onto your site.
Now I'm worried I offended you and such was not my intent at all.
*continues to fret*
Re: *frets*
Date: 2004-08-31 01:17 pm (UTC)And it is very ungracious of me to admit it, perhaps, but I have a hard time believing the story doesn't suck no matter what anyone else says when I have been so overwrought with my process around the entire thing. It might be a perfectly fine story, but my mental upset about working on it makes me hate it right now. I'll calm down in a few days and deal like a grown-up. I'm almost sure of it.
My apology about the question marks is sincere. I find my own formatting errors nearly as excruciating as spelling or tense errors. I just don't trust myself to fix them and not just go ahead and delete the entire entry instead.
So, please don't fret. I'm doing enough fretting for everyone ;)
