pusherman: So, if you read my post of very early this morning, had your interest in Sakende Yaruze piqued, but were subsequently unable to download it from the indicated source...I've got all the volumes uploaded. If you want them, let me know and I'll add you to a filtered post.

marks: I posted a story this morning, too, in the very quiet predawn hour. It is apparently littered with spare/extraneous question marks, for which I apologize. However, I am currently unwilling to associate any further with that story file, so any editing will have to wait until I can bear to look at it again. I'm sure it's a perfectly fine story, but I had so much trouble getting Clark and Lex to be nice to one another that I am just relieved that they are merely question marks and not MARKS OF THE DEVIL.

a single glove: Mr. Glove is in Miami all week for work. Then all next week. Then he gets to go to Olympia (i.e., Seattle! Portland!) for yet another week. I get to stay here and feed pets. Mr. Glove will be enjoying ocean air, drinking Cuban coffee, and admiring scantily-clad girls as part of his exalted and important "work." Because I am unreasonably resentful, I think I will get Coffee Rachel to marry me while he's gone in retaliation.

white rabbit: Late, late for a very important date. Lots of back comments and e-mails. I will answer them. I will.

I'd love to be added, please. :) I only have issues 9-14, so I'd appreciate getting hold of the missing chapters.

You're on the filter! I just did complete volumes, but they're not too huge...

You did post then? How about a link, chicky!!

And when oh when will Mr. Glove be returning to KC?! I am hungry for some BBQ.

Um, I'm not sure it isn't really bad, so I didn't want to link. Seriously, I am not even sure the last part was in a language. I'm afraid to read any more comments for fear they are the textual equivalents of pity fucks. People who read the comm will see it, or not. So, paranoia uber alles and I really need coffee and you can't make me reread it even with threats...

As to KC, I think that might have been it. There's a guy who is pretty much parked there full-time who likes it there and has about 30 years seniority. Unless they have another expert-requiring situation, Mr. G is not likely to get to make the trip. I guess I'll just have to figure out a time to come visit myself. Or did you really want the Mr. instead?

You are on crack. How could that fic possibly have turned to shit when it melted like chocolate on my tongue only last night? Must I really hunt down the link for myself?

*whines* <--it is a shrill, annoying sound, trust me.

And you mean I can pick you over Mr. Glove? It is no contest. When are you coming to see me, then? :P

Maybe I just don't tell you everything. I may make the trip, but the timing of it is still up in the air.

She likes you better anyways.

Oh, and you're completely welcome. I agree that mIRC sucks, though I've gotten used to it. It's like a big step backwards in technology.

I don't care to be in the filtered post. Thanks anyway.

If you marry Coffee Rachel then it would be like a reward.

You are spamtastic today, my dear. You're in Ft. Lauderdale. Go outside. I'm sure if you just look around a bit, you'll find some girl dressed in dental floss who'll pick up pennies off the sidewalk for your delectation...

It did just occur to me that in order to get Coffee Rachel in on the plan, I might have to actually leave the house.

Actually, I kinda like the hot Cuban girl in the little white nurses uniform. Hell, who wouldn't?

I think any flossed girl would be disinclined to pick my pennies up, if you know what I mean. Copper just isn't that motivational.

If I could think of a way to force you to download and read Sakende Yaruze, I would ;)

I'd love to be in the filter, please. That's very cool of you to share like that.

And what's this about you posting a story? Where? Wanna read! Question marks be damned.

I'll add you.

And the story is at the [livejournal.com profile] onehundredone. I'm sure it's not terrible, but I had a very hard time writing anything where Clark and Lex didn't just drink and glare at one another, so I'm kind of afraid to go fix it now and see what I actually did with them.

Now, isn't that the kind of authorial confidence that makes a person want to read?

*frets*

I'm sitting here thinking I upset you by pointing out the question marks - and that it was all you took from my comments, whereas I loved the fic to pieces and said so as well.

However, you have a very pretty website - now with pink! *g* - and I had figured that you would want to know that the question marks were there and not load them with the story onto your site.

Now I'm worried I offended you and such was not my intent at all.

*continues to fret*

No, no - I'm not upset about being told about formatting stuff. In fact, I appreciate it very much. I'm just upset with myself (and the story) because I had such a hard time getting Clark and Lex to be not-hateful and it was all very last minute, and now I'm afraid to go read it. Even though people seem to like it. Despite the question marks. Which several people mentioned, actually--not just you ;)

And it is very ungracious of me to admit it, perhaps, but I have a hard time believing the story doesn't suck no matter what anyone else says when I have been so overwrought with my process around the entire thing. It might be a perfectly fine story, but my mental upset about working on it makes me hate it right now. I'll calm down in a few days and deal like a grown-up. I'm almost sure of it.

My apology about the question marks is sincere. I find my own formatting errors nearly as excruciating as spelling or tense errors. I just don't trust myself to fix them and not just go ahead and delete the entire entry instead.

So, please don't fret. I'm doing enough fretting for everyone ;)
