POV, X-Men, glorious hair
Apr. 8th, 2004 07:32 pmI am drawn by the allure of second person POV. I know everyone hates reading it, but I...can't help it. And also, I am trying to write a happy Clex story and it's not working because it seems completely false, like I'm writing a story about effigies instead of real boys. Uh, make that "real" boys.
Finally saw X-Men 2. I'd forgotten it was even in my Netflix queue, and I'd probably have taken it out if I'd been paying attention. Luckily, I was oblivious. What a fun movie! More fun than the first one, which I thought was not-terrible. It wasn't until this movie, however, that I realized that Logan = Wolverine (yeah, I've never read the comics). Isn't Logan-Rogue a popular pairing? But he'd never fuck her! She's, like, his niece or something. Anyway, this second film made me interested in the comic books. I have some dim awareness that, like Supes and Bats, there are a ton of different storylines and competing books. Which is the "real" one, or where should a person start with X-Men?
Went and got my hair trimmed today, and had the blonde chunk emphasized. In my poll the other day? Where I asked you all how glorious you thought my hair really was? Most of you were correct, but those who gave me a 7 or below...well, death to the unbelievers. I am going to attempt to take some glorious photos later, perhaps.

rhiannonhero: I'll have it for you later tonight.
ETA: cell phone thing: Apparently, my phone phobia extends to messages, too. I was a bit overwhelmed by the quantity of messages I have waiting for me...and I haven't listened to them all yet. So if you're wondering why I haven't said anything...I'm lame. And chicken. This meme exposes my soft, pallid underbelly, doesn't it?
