I mentioned the other day that I'm compiling songs, and I'm thinking "CD," but then it occurs to me that maybe people might prefer other options than a CD in the mail. Personally, I love the CD-in-the-mail thing. It's what the compiler (in this case, me) wants, in the order they want it, with the cover art they chose. And it sucks or rocks depending on those factors, as well as the song choices themselves. But. But, but, but. Last time I did a mailing, I spent well over $100 in postage and I'm not eager to do that again. Also, as much as I enjoy my mixes, some of the recipients might well not, and if so, then I've wasted materials and postage. Thus, a poll:

I did a .zip file for my birthday compilation and that seemed to work out pretty good for all, so I'm inclined that way again. It allows me to be control-freaky to some extent, but the downloader can still do whatever they want with the files once they have them. Anyway, I'll hold off on decisions until I see what you all have to say on the matter.
