oiranThe Grudge: starring Buffy Sarah Michelle Gellar. Mr. Glove came home just after 5 and I happened to check the movie times, and we managed to catch a 5:30 show. We ate hypersalted popcorn and tongue-burning amounts of sugar and clutched each other's arms and screamed like girls. Both of us did - don't let him convince you otherwise. Shrieking and laughing, shrieking and laughing - along with the rest of the theater. It was just so much fun to be scared! And even when you knew you ought to be past the point where you were frightened, you kept being shocked anew.
It's no work of genius plot-wise, but it does what it's supposed to do with suspense and style. Extra bonus points for cool shots of Tokyo.
Oh, and if you see it? That...sound? That's a noise that I am very good at making, and I intend to surprise Mr. Glove with it at random times over the next few days. Heh. This should be fun.
