remix! remix! remix!

The Remix Redux: Reloaded archive is open! Whoever* remixed my excuse for twincest story Siamese Twin is a GENIUS!

This author takes the idea of a cloned Lex and uses it to examine the Lex-Lionel relationship and the nature of identity but, most importantly, suggests an extremely plausible explanation for some of S4's serious deficiencies without refuting show canon. It's seriously brilliant.

Oh, and the dirty twincest angle is still very present :)

Go read Conjoined Twin (Separation Anxiety Remix) Go! Shoo! Get busy!

I couldn't be more thrilled. I feel very lucky :)

*I'm pretty sure I know who it is...I'll doubtless let you know if I was right when the names are revealed.

Both stories are so cool! *squeaks happily*
I'll go re-read "Siamese Twin" now, because that'll quadruple the coolness for the evening. :) Plus, I'm typing in a lovely pink. This, also, is seriously cool.

Re-read if you must, but I do think the remix is about a million times better than the original, not least because it's an actual *story* instead of just an excuse to write multi-Lex porn :)

I'm rather ashamed of myself for not exploring the possibilities a bit more than I did...but I still don't think I would have written something as cool as this remix version.

Writer's don't know who's remixing their stories? That's pretty cool. wHat if that writer overshadows writer #1? Does that ever happen?

[identity profile] velvetglove.livejournal.com 2005-03-21 01:17 am (UTC)(link)
Nope, not a clue! Well, unless you know people's styles pretty well, and like to think that I do...

As to overshadowing - certainly, that can happen. For instance, I think it's pretty obvious that the remix is much, much better than the original in this case. It's got a plot, it's intriguing as hell, and it still has twincest, so it's an overall superior version. I'm just thrilled to be associated with it.

Both versions are wonderful. You can never go wrong with multiple Lex. It's like a two for one deal.
