After months of eating low- and non-fat yogurt, this container of whole-milk yogurt is very much like spooning up fruit-flavored butter. I can't finish it. It's almost yucky.
Everything I imagine I might want to say, I end up deleting. It's either too trivial (see: yogurt, above) or seems far beyond my current capacity to do the subject justice. When interests, terrors and obsessions converge, I believe that I'm on the verge of something important, something that will change me, but then the opportunity dissolves (or was never clear to me in the first place) and the feeling passes. Again.
This sounds far more cryptic than it ought.
*sigh*
When in doubt, walk the dog.

Date: 2005-03-16 11:10 pm (UTC)I enjoy discussions about dairy products. For example, I welcome opportunities to state that chevre remains one of the greatest things ever concocted by humankind. See! *g*
I agree about the yogurt thing as well -- I can no longer abide the full-fat version, but fat free doesn't satisfy anymore either. Low fat plain organic mixed with fruit -- that's where it's at. *g* I've found that the flavor of organic yogurt is richer than the standard Dannon kind.
Seriously, though, I've found that I enjoy the trivialities of LJ just as much as discussions of weightier topics.

Be trivial if you want to. It's your journal. Do what you want. I default to posting a lot of pictures. It's that or bitch about the roommates, and, been there, done that, tired already.
