The Remix Redux: Reloaded archive is open! Whoever* remixed my excuse for twincest story Siamese Twin is a GENIUS!

This author takes the idea of a cloned Lex and uses it to examine the Lex-Lionel relationship and the nature of identity but, most importantly, suggests an extremely plausible explanation for some of S4's serious deficiencies without refuting show canon. It's seriously brilliant.

Oh, and the dirty twincest angle is still very present :)

Go read Conjoined Twin (Separation Anxiety Remix) Go! Shoo! Get busy!

I couldn't be more thrilled. I feel very lucky :)

anti-fandom headspace: Yeah, I get that. I had such a hard time writing the last SV story that I wrote - which was for a challenge - and I hated it so much, I never posted it anywhere but the challenge journal, and it's certainly not going on my site. I was just so sick of SV - the quality of the show, the constant intrafandom bickering, the desire for happy!fic that I can't seem to write any more - that it was just a hateful experience. But the story got recced by a few people, so it was probably okay, even though I certainly wasn't by the time it was done.

As for this recent story, just a couple fb msgs, both positive, (including one from the recipient/remixee, whom I may have traumatized, unfortunately, and now I feel guilty). It's not a big fandom, so I'm not surprised it's got low readership. Also, it's certainly possible that people don't like it. I've been afraid to re-read it for some retarded reason, but I loved it when I sent it in, and I'm sure I'll love it still when I get my courage up to read it again.

I am surprised I'm not seeing people talk about or rec remix stories anywhere. I was in NYC last year when the stories were posted/authors announced, so I missed if there was any sort of multifandom squee happening then. I'm really annoyed on behalf of the person who remixed my story - I haven't seen any pimp posts except my own - and it's a kick-ass story! I am going to check the other f-list to see if there's anyone saying anything *at all* about any remix stories. Since I've been reading a bunch in various fandoms and have found much to love, I should just put together a rec post and stop waiting for someone else to do it.
